I was Size 20-22 at my biggest, I was near 300 pounds, I was infertile before we had 4 kids in 6 years. I experienced a miscarriage. I grew up in a critical home and still discovering who I am. There's more and more I've gone through that I am not ready to make public. I just want to help people. Show support and encouragement and hope! Sending you all genuine love and prayers! It is incredible to explain how great it is to have a daily plan and weekly plan. Now what I do exactly every day isn't planned, it's just having the timeline schedule. As a stay-at-home mom, some days are spent being completely on call for all the kids. I have now finally entered a season and learned that a more structured schedule is needed for all of us. I worked very hard mentally preparing last fall for this season. In December I sat down and literally wrote out my per fect day (encouraged by my coach). I then sat down another day with a 12 month calendar, pages I printed from the internet, and better mapped out my weekly and monthly schedule. Then a week ago or so... I transferred my schedule onto my Google Calendar. My family knows my desire and goals now (communication is huge), this is very helpful in order for those around you, that live with you, so they can help support your goals for health. I get more done now. Setting myself a bedtime so I can wake ...

Season this!

Image
Have you ever made your Own Seasonings? It's EASY! After we changed our eating, we realized we had to also review our Spice cabinet. It was lacking, lame, and full of pre made spice blends, UGH! This is also a way that your health can hurt if you are not using or better yet making your own! This is our family's GO-TO Taco Seasoning  from the Food Renegade. http://www.foodrenegade.com/homemade-taco-seasoning/ Just simply use a small food processor or I use the "milling" blade on my NutriBullet. Since people think veggies and food is bland when you take our salt and sugar, then try something new! Yes, this was out of my comfort zone and new and different and scary! But you have to dive in when it's your health you're working with! I know when I first made it, I did NOT have these things in my cabinet. SO make sure you go shopping and get everything. Here is a list of basic ones to stock:  http://www.spicesinc.com/p-477-top-25-spices-every-kitchen-mus...

Right Foot: One Year Later

Image
Where will you be in one year? No, I am not claiming to be a foot model Lol. 😂 I just want to celebrate the one-year anniversary of my right foot bunion surgery. These were not an injury. I have had them since I was a kid. When I was ten years old, I remember seeing a foot doctor, and being told that one day, I would need surgery. Well a year ago today, that day came. Overall, the invasive surgery went well. It did take longer than expected because the damage on my right foot was pretty bad. The first 48 hours post surgery was the worst. I'll spare you the story, but like the pains of childbirth, it was so worth it. In 2013, I got consultation on my feet, because I had just lost 100 pounds, and they were hurting daily (you'd think less weight would be better). The x rays showed the future need for surgery. In 2015, I committed to fitness as my next stage after weight loss and a two year maintenance. I started working out but I...
