Good morning, What time is it?

Image
Good morning, What time is it?  ⏰ It is chocolate shake time!  🍫 It feels oh so bad, but it is also good (for me)! Every single day, I enjoy a shake and the recipe is never the same. Today is my vanilla plant based mix with added Cocoa, coconut water and coconut milk, a digestive health mix, all blended with ice! Mmm. My shake is MY short cut to easier health and weightloss in addition to healthier eating and activity/self-care. Everyone should live as healthy as they can, in their own way.  👍  It is my joy to help people find their way. Explore options and evolve to what is realistic based on where you are and where you want to be in your health. Confession that my journey was pretty strict the first years because I knew I needed the discipline to break my old habits and ways. My old lifestyle/habits/choices were possibly leading me to a path of diabetes and heart disease and who knows what else. (I was day and happy, but had no idea the path to I'll h...

Check out that gorgeous Daytona Beach behind me! This was taken during vacation the last week in August. I have no idea what the beach looks like now after Hurricane Irma. I do hope and Pray everyone recovers easily. Such is life right? One day things can be beautiful, gorgeous, and wonderful and the next minute it all just change. Life is best lived with a healthy mindset, unconditional support, and with a focus on living a fun and fulfilling life. It is my hope that you are living with these three or getting close to it. Healthy Relationships

Image
This is my partner in life, parenting, and Ministry. My husband since 2000! There is nothing more healthy than the relationships in your life. I pray and hope that your relationship with your spouse or close loved one is open for communication, and constantly with words of gratitude. Daily I am genuine and thanking him for things he does to help out around the house, with the kids, and with our  work. It is imperative that you focus on each other's strengths and celebrate that and honor that and praise them. It is also important to extend forgiveness and Grace for weaknesses. Nobody is perfect especially yourself. So do what you can to again focus on a person's strength to help lessen your focus of their weakness. Think of your strengths and be proud of those. Think of your partners strengths and realize how a great team you are! Know if you and your spouse or partner are not a good team, make sure you are communicating the needs but make sure the needs or problems can b...

Public Accountability Post

Image
Hey, it's time for my public accountability post since some of you might be curious visually and numerically how I'm doing in my health journey and maintenance. The old me would hate this but now, it's no big deal. I am my size, I'm okay with it and showing others my progress is exactly the inspiration that motivated me to change my mindset, my path, and my life, once I put it All in to action! Every Sunday, I measure inches, pounds, take photos to enter in My Challenge Track er app (then monthly I enter it in a challenge for a free tshirt and possible cash prize!). This helps track progress in both my nutrition and Fitness. I can look back and see inches or pounds lost or gained based on different workouts, different eating plans, and life events. Taking most of the summer off in working out was discouraging but it is encouraging to look at photos, the measurements are okay, and the pounds are okay, but pictures really help me see the changes. I know many o...
